“I fell in love with skincare as a makeup artist. I loved how I could totally transform skin from looking tired, stressed and dull to healthy & glowing and also how it impacted a person's confidence. Models would love sitting in my chair because they knew they would be taken care of not only with their skin but also emotionally as I love making people feel good and nurtured. It's from my love of the combination of helping someone feel confident, wanting skincare that helped stressed out skin and that would work on my sensitive skin, that I launched the brand.


It was only when I trained as a make-up artist and then started beauty blogging that I really started to learn about skin. I learnt how good skin meant more confidence but also I have learnt that fully accepting yourself and loving the skin you are in is so important.”

What is the story behind Lumi Glo?

Lumi Go was created by makeup artist Shahnaz Cola-Wrensch. With the struggle of sensitive skin and the love of skincare it was her dream to create a skincare brand for sensitive skin but for all skin types. Packed with ingredients that truly work to give you healthy glowing skin.

 

What is CBD Leaf Extract?

CBD Leaf Extract is a compressed oil taken from the ariel part of the plant. It has amazing healing benefits. It does not contain THC.

 

What are the benefits of CBD for my skin? 

Anti-Acne – CBD has been shown to minimize sebum production and normalize an overactive sebaceous gland, resulting in less oily skin and reduced clogged pores. Anti-inflammatory – CBD’s anti-inflammatory properties are great for reducing puffiness, redness, and calming the skin. Moisturizing - The fatty acids found in CBD (that’s still in an oil form) include omega-6 and gamma-linolenic acid which facilitate moisturization. Antioxidant - CBD’s antioxidant properties can help protect against free radicals in the environment, which is great for preventing fine lines and wrinkles. * These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. Is CBD safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding?

​In the case of pregnancy and breast feeding we would still suggest that you consult you medical professional before the use of our products.

While many natural ingredients are safe to use during pregnancy, some should be avoided completely and some in certain quantities.

 

Is Lumi Glo vegan and cruelty free?

Yes all Lumi Glo ingredients are sustainably sourced, derived from plants and are not tested on animals.

 

Will Lumi Glo products help with my dry/dehydrated skin?

Can I use Lumi Glo skincare if I have sensitive skin?

Yes Lumi Glo products were formulated for sensitive skin, tested on consumers with sensitive skin and created with high end ingredients to ensure our customers. Our fav products for very sensitive skin are The Hydration Booster and Glo Plump Set as well as the Super Glo Hydro Boost Moisturiser.

 

Can I use Lumi Glo with other skincare brands?

Yes you can mix other products in with Lumi Glo.

 

Can my teenager use Lumi Glo skincare?

Yes, they can our CBD range can be used safely from the age of 6 years old. The sheet masks were formulated for all ages especially teen skin struggling with breakouts.

 

Is your packaging recyclable? 

Our sheet and eye masks are made from bamboo and biodegradable. The face mist and moisturizer packaging are 100 virgin plastic and are recyclable.

 

How much Niacinamide is in the face mist?

There is 3% Niacinamide in the Dewy Glo face mist.

 

Can I use Lumi Glo on more mature skin?

Yes, Lumi Glo skincare is so nourishing packed with such hydrating ingredients to help plump out fine lines and wrinkles, add radiance to the skin and help improve texture of time.
